Benjamin was selected as one of two kindergarteners at his school for a painting he made. It is currently being displayed at the Frist Museum as part of the Williamson County Young Artists show. Here we are for the "grand opening."

I always wondered what Morgan would look like with long hair (ha ha)...now I know, having seen Forest. It's uncanny how alike they look! Cuties! p.p.s. Go Benjamin! December 2006 Met with Children's Hope International to discuss their Ethiopian program. We knew we wanted to adopt again, and the need there is beyond overwhelming.
Summer 2007 Decided to complete nursing school before adopting again.
May 2009 Met with Children's Hope International to begin adoption process.
July 17, 2009 Formally approved with AGCI to adopt from Ethiopia.
August 6, 2009 First home study meeting with Catholic Charities.
August 19, 2009 Fingerprinted for home study.
September 4, 2009 Fingerprinted for CIS.
September 8, 2009 Last home study meeting!
October 20, 2009 Home study complete
October 23, 2009 Mailed in the education materials (phew)
November 16, 2009 Final homestudy sent from CC to AGCI after delay due to abuse registries not being completed
Tuesday, January 19, 2010 Final dossier materials submitted to AGCI
Thursday, January 21, 2010 CIS approval (I-171H) received
Tuesday, January 26, 2010 All paperwork approved by AGCI and logged in as officially "waiting" at #50 in the girls' list!!!
Tuesday, April 13, 2010 Still waiting... At #34 now...
Tuesday, July 6, 2010 #19. Hoping by early spring for a referral.
